شورای ملی تصمیم بازداشت خانم نرگس محمدی، برنده جایزه صلح نوبل ۲۰۲۳، و ده فعال سیاسی و مدنی دیگر را در مشهد، قاطعانه محکوم میکند و خواستار آزادی فوری و بدون قید و شرط تمامی بازداشتشدگان است.
این شورا، ضمن ابراز نگرانی شدید از وضعیت فعالان بازداشتشده که در پی شرکت در مراسم ترحیم آقای خسرو علی کردی در مشهد، به دلیل «بیان شعارهای هنجارشکنانه» بازداشت شدند، تأکید میکند که این اقدام نقض آشکار حقوق بنیادین شهروندان برای آزادی بیان و تجمع مسالمتآمیز است.

شورای ملی تصمیم همبستگی کامل خود را با تمامی این فعالان و خانوادههای آنها اعلام میدارد.
شورای ملی تصمیم، ادعای عجیب و بیسابقه فرماندار مشهد مبنی بر اینکه این افراد به دلیل “بیان شعارهای هنجارشکنانه” بازداشت و “تحت الحفظ هستند تا از اقدام تقابلی گروههای دیگر حمایت شوند،” را قویاً رد میکند.
این توجیه، تلاشی آشکار برای پوشاندن سرکوب حقوقی و امنیتی تحت عنوان «مراقبت» است. حکومت به جای تضمین امنیت شهروندانی که صرفاً از حق قانونی خود برای بیان عقاید استفاده میکنند، خود به عامل سلب آزادی آنان تبدیل شده است. این شیوه، نشاندهنده شکست حاکمیت در تأمین امنیت مدنی و تسلیم در برابر فشار نیروهای خودسر است.
وظیفه دادستانی و شورای تأمین، مقابله با تهدیدکنندگان امنیت است، نه بازداشت فعالان مدنی. شورای ملی تصمیم این اقدام را «گروگانگیری سیاسی» میداند که هدف آن مرعوب ساختن جامعه مدنی و خاموش کردن صدای اعتراض مشروع است.
شورای ملی تصمیم تأکید میکند:
شعارها، حتی اگر در چهارچوب قوانین فعلی «هنجارشکنانه» تلقی شوند، جرم نیستند و نمیتوانند مجوز سلب آزادی باشند.
- مطالبه آزادی: ما خواستار آن هستیم که مقامات قضایی بدون اتلاف وقت و توجیهات غیرمنطقی، تمامی این فعالان شجاع را فوراً آزاد کنند و به تداوم سیاست سرکوب و بگیروببند پایان دهند.
